Your voice is so strong, direct, and free that even an old guy like me, whose life experience is very different from your own, can hear what you are saying and feel, at least to some degree, what you are feeling. I’m sorry you are stuck with health problems and faced with recurring depression. But what shines through is your witty resilience and no-nonsense self-encouragement.
And I’m glad you are going to call your grandmother.
Thank you Glen! Having a much better week this week, thank you for the well wishes. I often feel like my Substack writing is a lot of complaining, but it seems like I have so much more to say in those rough moments. I appreciate that you always have kind words for me, it means a lot. <3
And I did call my grandma. We actually Facetimed. It was her first Facetime and it was a lot of fu to experience that with her for the first time and see her happy face.
I’m smiling at your lovely FaceTime experience with your grandma. I’m a grandpa myself, and just a few minutes ago, I had a sweet call from my granddaughter. Glad you are having a better week. And I haven’t perceived that you complain so much on Substack. I think you are just real, which is refreshing. Peace to you, Glen
