I was scrolling through Instagram in the wee hours of the morning and saw a pic that someone posted saying, “Can you guys vent about your exes in the comments?
Your gracious, generous wisdom shines through, Vickee. I sense there's a measure of peace in the background of this piece, a gentle acceptance of the multi-sidedness of intimate relationships. A pleasure to read. Thank you. PS. Can you say something about the picture? The startling contrast between the pointing finger and the beautiful tress jumps out at the reader.
You always have the kindest and best articulated comments Glen. Thank you!
I took the picture in the California Redwoods about eight years ago on a family road trip. We found several places along the PCH with impromptu art pieces and that was one of them. If my memory serves me correctly (which may or may not be the case LOL), this one wasn't actually pointing at anything in particular. Or perhaps it was pointing to a trailhead or something else that we were unaware of? It was pretty fun to see randomly in a forest though.
